The aim of this treatment is to minimize wrinkles in specific areas – typically around the mouth, eyes, and forehead. Here, the practitioner normally uses greater needle depths than at rejuvenation and there might be a need to use local anaesthetic creams (talk to your authorized practitioner about this).
The optimization of the collagen process is primary here- and the treatment should be carried out in a series of at least 4 treatments with a minimum of one month break between the treatments. You will see an immediate effect after the first treatment – but there is a need for more treatments to gain optimal results.
The duration of the effect may vary from person to person, but it is usually 1-2 years. After the treatment the skin will be blushing around the application area – this will get better and disappear within 12 hours.
